Company announces management appointments and department consolidation designed to further the progression
HUNT VALLEY, MD – May 2, 2013 – While recent wins have solidified WebbMason’s transition as a full service integrated marketing solutions provider, the company, based here, has also taken steps internally to accelerate its position in this market. Today WebbMason (http://www.webbmason.com) announced the consolidation of its MarketingBench platform and interactive services group into the newly‐formed Interactive Solutions Division (ISD.) David Rich, recently appointed to WebbMason’s board of directors, will assume the role of chairman and acting CEO of ISD, while Jennifer Black will lead day-to-day activities as ISD president and chief operating officer.
The formation of ISD reinforces WebbMason’s ability to add new interactive marketing solutions to its already-established offerings and will also enable it to penetrate new markets. Shoring up this initiative is the appointment of Doug Traxler into the newly‐created position of chief development officer. The new role adds responsibilities for WebbMason’s national account efforts, strategic alliances and strategic programs to Traxler’s continued responsibility for overseeing WebbMason’s sales and marketing teams. To further support the company’s expansion and growth, Enam Noor has been appointed as chief strategy officer and west region managing director for ISD. Noor, who reports to Tony Abunassar, head of WebbMason Interactive, will help in the planning, formation and on-boarding of new alliances, analytics offerings and consulting services.
ISD will also host a new product marketing and management group responsible for market analysis, product positioning and translating customer and field needs into product requirements and deliverables. Michelle Bengermino will head this new initiative. Amer Mallah has been appointed chief information officer (CIO) and will fill the newly-created position of chief technology officer (CTO) for ISD. Mallah will be responsible for the company’s internal information technology as well as technology platform development and support.
“These changes reflect the next stage in the implementation of our full marketing solutions and services strategy and our constant commitment to better serve our customers,” said Warner Mason, WebbMason president, co-founder and chairman. “The creation of the ISD will allow us to accelerate sales through and rapidly deliver on our Interactive growth initiatives.”
