Carol Wolicki Intends To Build Brand Equity, Increase Market Share

Hunt Valley, MD -January 30, 2012 WebbMason, an on-demand marketing solutions and services company headquartered in Hunt Valley, MD, has named Carol Wolicki vice president of marketing with responsibility for brand development, marketing communications, demand generation, sales enablement, and influencer relations. She is based at WebbMason’s corporate office. Wolicki has extensive experience developing and implementing marketing technologies. Prior to joining the company, she was director of marketing at Ennect, a marketing software and services company, and senior director of marketing communications at Unica Corporation, a marketing software developer which was acquired by IBM. Wolicki reports to Doug Traxler, executive vice president of sales and marketing at WebbMason.

“Carol brings a rich mix of skills and experience to her new role with WebbMason,” said Traxler. “She has held leadership roles with innovative software companies that made marketing more automated, scientific and measurable. At the same time, Carol conceived and implemented many creative marketing and public relations programs in corporate and agency positions. As director of marketing at Ennect, a division of Elliance, Inc., Wolicki managed PR, social media, email marketing, and advertising to drive growth of Ennect’s suite of on-demand marketing tools. At Unica, Wolicki managed a team responsible for PR and marketing communications activities across the company’s marketing automation, marketing operations, and web analytics software divisions. Wolicki has held international marketing management positions with ECI Telecom and Banyan Systems, where she opened European markets for the company. She also ran her own marketing and user group management company, Chrysalis Communications Inc., for more than a decade, and held executive positions with several Massachusetts-based high technology marketing agencies.

Wolicki graduated cum laude with a BA in English from the University of Pittsburgh and earned an MS in Public Communications from Boston University. She recently relocated from Pittsburgh, PA to Baltimore, MD.
