We wanted to take a quick hiatus this week from sharing industry news and expertise to give a quick “State of Our Organization” report.
In February, we announced that the company recorded its best-ever sales year in 2010. The $90 million in revenue we collected is a 32% improvement from our 2009 total of $68 million. A key to this level of success has been the tremendous ability of our dedicated staff, which was clearly demonstrated and celebrated at our annual sales conference.
Many companies may host an annual sales conference, but we here at WebbMason, well, we BOAST that our annual sales conference packs in more sharing, caring, and learning than anyone else! Last month, our sixty account executives and managers from 19 regions across the country gathered at the Nemocolin Woodlands Resort (a WebbMason client) for three days of workshops.
The common thread to everything we did at this conference – breakout groups, main sessions, sharing discussions, etc. – was done with “the customer” in mind. The new products and capabilities we developed (which we will go into more detail on in our next post) were all done to enhance the multi-levels of marketing you need to communicate effectively.
So amidst the working and team building activities (yes, we did squeeze in a late-night bowling tournament), we prepared a set of new solutions to bring to our customers. We are committed to seamlessly integrating messages from disparate marketing silos on every channel to make a more efficient, more effective marketing strategy.
In short, we are communicating your message to the marketplace even better than before. In our next post, we will explain exactly how we are doing it.
